I carry this beautiful piece by Emily Scott in my book of remembering everything that I’m meant to be doing or things I haven’t done yet and for ideas that jump into my head that I don’t want to forget!

So it’s on me all of the time tucked in beside the first page and falls out from time to time when I open it..like a surprise! It never fails to make me cry and always inspires with its imagery.

from Missing

Much as I love a mystery,
I remain confused,
There is just dirt and dust,
Where you are missed by me,
And the swallows have gone,
To where they used to be.
