Posted by edincityoflit in Stories.

The free books have almost all been claimed, though you may be able to pick one up at a Carry a Poem event this weekend.  Wondering where the events are?  Find out in the City of Literature listings.

The online version is only live until Sunday night, so read it now!

The stories in the book are a collection of those people sent to us – we chose from those that were submitted, and it does feature Abhainn Arois by Sorley MacLean. There is a Gaelic pocketcard, featuring Fearghas MacFhionnlaigh: http://carryapoem.com/2010/02/22/poetry-pocketcards-in-detail/fearghas-macfhionnlaigh-3/. Why not submit a story about the Gaelic poem you carry?
Share it with us!

Any Gaelic in it? What about Donnchadh Ban Mac an t-Saoir who is buried in Greyfriars Kirkyard?
